About Us

NWSRA, in conjunction with USA Water Ski and Wake Sports, is a sanctioned water ski racing association of organized skiers, boaters, their families and friends who desire water ski competition in a safe family environment. 

Whether just beginning as a youngster, teenager or experienced skier, there are ski classes for you. Under our new race format beginning in 2022, the emphasis on shorter sprint races rather than the longer endurance marathons.  

Our racecourse format is a 2-mile or less oval with laps and time depending on the ski class you select. There are multiple sprint classes for Pewee, Rookie-beginner and Advance skiers. We even have shorter marathons classes as well.  

Little or no race ski equipment you say? Contact us in advance of any event and we may be able to help. You have no boat? We can arrange a tow. Perhaps you don’t ski. You can observe for your family member or friend.  You have a boat? Once it is inspected for safety and equipment, you can drive it and earn points too.
